Mrs. D. P. Shanthi kumari is the Head of the Department of Botany. She joined in the Department in September 1983, She has 32 years of Teaching Experience at the Degree Level. She is Awarded “A” Grade in all the refresher Course. She has Presented Seminar papers in all the refresher courses and participated in Micro Teaching in Orientation Course conducted by the Academic staff college. O.U.

She has attended the orientation course at Academic Staff College. O.U from 5-12-1988 to 31-12-1988. She has attended 3 refresher courses in Botany in the O.U University and Presented Seminars.

She has participated in the National Workshop on Fungal Ecology in Botany in 1990 for 2 days and has attended the 2 days Lecturer Workshop on “Current Trends in Plant -Science” held on the 8th and 9th December 2014 at the Department of Botany Telangana University, Dichpally, Nizamabad.

She has worked as N.S.S P.O. for 4 years; she has worked as Union Advisor for 4 years. She has bean in different Committee’s of the college. She was the member of Library in Nizamabad. She has bean appointed as the member for IQAC & Planning Board member of the college. She is presently working as Principal of the college during this Academic year.
