NCC aims to provide a suitable Environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces. NCC also aims to develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country. Since many years the college has NCC unit.
In this academic year NCC cadets’ enrollment is carried out on 31st July. The NCC officials Mr. Ramachandra Patel Mr. Paragath Singh and Mr. Shiva Naresh selected the students through a tough selection procedure. 72 students were enrolled as new cadets.
Every Tuesday and Thursday NCC cadets have their regular parade which includes theory and practical classes. In total 35 parades were conducted by the NCC officials. As per the instructions of the NCC directorate the cadets took up the activities like Haritha Haram, Beti Bachao Beti Padao Rally, Armed Forces Flag Day Fund Collection, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, BHIM App (Bharat Interface for Money) App was launched by P.M. Narendra Modi which is based on unified payments interface (UPI) is introduced to NCC cadets on 4th December.
Participation of NCC Cadets in Special Camps:
Cadet T. Madhuri, III B.Com represented in a number of NCC related activities like All India Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) – 2018 at Delhi from 17th to 28th September, Inter Directorate Shooting Competition at Chandigarh from 7th to 18th August, Inter Directorate Shooting Competition at Tamil Nadu from 2nd to 11th June.
Cadets M.Sunitha, II B.A (EPP), K.Sony, III B.Com, B.Sneha,II B.Com attended Army Attachment Camp at Secunderabad from 24th September to 3rd October, 2018.
Cadets T.Shruthi, III B.Sc (MPC’s), K.Sandhya, I B.Com, M.Roopa, II B.Sc (MPC’s), N.Rama, Sr. CEC T/M and G.Ganga Bhavani Sr. CEC E/M attended Army Attachment Camp at Rukmagiri, Karimnagar from 24th September to 3rd October, 2018.
Cadets M. Godavari, III BA (HEP), Navya Sri, III BA (EPP), V.Jyothi, III B.Sc (BZC), M.Sukanya, III B.Sc (BZC), G.Vijaya Laxmi III B.Sc (BZC) represented in Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) National Integration Camp (NIC) at Hyderabad from 1st to 12th August.
M. Roopa, II MPC’s represented RDC – IGC (Inter Group Competition) at Secunderabad from 27th to 5th November and also to LRDC – Local Republic Day Camp at Secunderabad 18th to 27th January, 2019.
10 cadets participated in CATC-I camp at Nagaram, Nizamabad from 1st to 10th July, 2018.
25 cadets participated in CATC-II camp at Nagaram, Nizamabad from 11th to 21st July, 2018.
24 cadets participated in CATC-III camp at Nagaram, Nizamabad from 20th to 29th October, 2018.
10 cadets participated in CATC-XIII camp at Adilabad from 4th to 13th January, 2019.
